PM360 selected PrescriberPoint's platform in the Artificial Intelligence category, recognizing an approach that takes on prior authorization work while keeping clinicians in control of every submission.
PrescriberPoint's Agentic AI Prior Authorization platform has been named a 2026 PM360 Innovation Award winner in the Artificial Intelligence category.
Prior authorization remains one of the most time-consuming administrative processes in healthcare. Requirements vary by payer, documentation has to be assembled accurately, and the work spans multiple systems — so the burden usually lands on prescribers and their staff, and patients wait.
We built the platform to take on more of that work inside the prescriber's existing workflow rather than after a prescription is rejected at the pharmacy. It is designed to support eligibility verification, real-time benefit checks, interpretation of payer requirements, clinical documentation, and payer-specific appeals, while keeping clinicians in control of every submission.
In clinical validation, the AI agent processed 1,289 prior authorization responses and reached a 94.5% clinician acceptance rate — nearly 19 out of 20 AI-generated responses accepted without modification. In one specialty medication case, the agent completed 163 payer questions that were fully accepted by the clinician. Some patients have begun complex therapies in as little as 48 hours.
